The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Mahidol University, Associate. Prof. Dr. Sauwakon Ratanawijitrasin,  and Prof. Dr. Micheal Zimmermann, Head of the Department for Indian and Tibetan Studies, Faculty of Humanities at Universität Hamburg, on August 03, 2021 signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mahidol University and Faculty of Humanities, Universität Hamburg.

This MOU aims to develop a joint program in Buddhist Studies and other forms of future collaborations, including education, research and academic services between the two institutions. 

Witnessed by respected representatives of both institutions, the ceremony took place via the online platform ZOOM.
