Asien-Afrika-Institut receives volumes of the Vietnamese Buddhist canon

Representing the Vietnamese Pagoda Hanover, Venerable Thich Nhu Dien presented the library of the Asia-Africa Institute with the first 24 volumes of the Vietnamese Buddhist Canon. The writings were translated directly from Chinese (Taisho) into Vietnamese. They also include five index volumes by Tue Sy. Around 220 volumes are planned over the next 10 years. The project is managed by the Vietnam Tripitaka Foundation (located in CA, USA).
